SLEEP TIME IS DOXIE TIME!

It's no secret to doxie lovers that our favorite breed LOVES to take naps or sleep in general. That's true of many dog breeds as well. They love to relax, take naps, and cuddle. All that is especially true of doxies, and we need to add in burrowing to the mix for them. They love our beds, and will get under the covers as quick as a wink, won't they?

Today we're celebrating the doxie's affinity for relaxing and sleeping, and what better way to do that than to share some really cute photos of them doing just that?

YES, THEY HATE NAIL TRIMS

How is your doxie about getting his/her nails trimmed? Some owners give up and let a groomer do it. Others tough it out and have someone help by holding said doxie still while the task is completed. Still others take their dog to the vet to get the task completed.

My doxie Duke didn't love getting his nails trimmed, but he did endure it rather well, we thought. I was always afraid I would cut them too short, hurting him in the process, so my hubby often did the deed. 

One thing about doxies (among many): they don't mind letting us know what they think about something!

Don't you just love these cute nail designs?  I posted these on my Facebook page recently, and cyberspace went crazy, reaching more than 88K in about a day. Wow! I would venture to say that these designs are definitely trending these days.
