Heartfelt Christian Fiction

The dictionary defines heartfelt as "deeply or sincerely felt." Synonyms include:
  • cordial
  • real
  • earnest
  • bona fide
  • unfeigned
  • unmannered
  • unaffected
In general, writers of Christian fiction already write about things that are heartfelt, so I am not unique in coining this label--but such writing is far more than mere entertainment.

Hopefully, readers will enjoy my writing, but will also come away with something they can take with them long after reading Sarge's tales in THE DACHSHUND ESCAPADES books. People who matter to me, ideas of eternal consequence, and God's unconditional love--are all part of the mix:
  • People who matter to me - At this point in my writing career, my friends and family are people I know best, so writing about them is a joy.
  • Ideas of eternal consequence - The plan is for my words to point readers to the eternal truths found in the Bible.
  • God's unconditional love - This golden thread is woven into the tapestry of Sarge's tales.
For those of you who will read (or have already read) my books, my heartfelt prayer is for you to be uplifted and inspired by them.
