TO CHEW OR NOT TO CHEW

One strong trait in doxies is their love for chewing on something. Of course puppies will chew up anything they can get those needle sharp teeth on—even babies do that  at an early stage of teething. But some older dogs can’t seem to resist the urge.

Our last doxie Duke, with the exception of once when he was a puppy, NEVER chewed on anything important. We had gotten him an inexpensive yellow fleece blanket, and he loved it. He would lick and chew it a lot, until it was so “holey” that we called it his cheese blanket! But he never chewed on our shoes, belts, or the couch (that would’ve been the last straw).

Does your doxie ever chew up something he/she shouldn’t? Tell us about it in the comments section below.

 Happy Tuesday, FURiends ♥️
