HOWL-O-WIENER DOXIES #4

This is turning out to be fun, looking for doxies in Halloween costumes.  After searching far and wide, here are my selections for your viewing enjoyment today:

Crusoe the Celebrity as Batman

Devil or angel doxies

Howl-o-wiener is a "mooooving" experience!

**IMPORTANT**
If you have a photo of your doxie in a costume and would like to have him/her featured on this blog in October, attach it to an email to me at dawgwriter@hotmail.com - I'll make every effort to include all those I receive!

DOXIES IN THEIR GETUPS

For the most part, our dachshunds are pretty good sports when it comes to making them wear "stuff."  I do recall that our granddawg Shadow did not care much for booties when Holly put them on him years ago.  He just kept slipping on the floor, so I can understand how he felt (that was what I always did when I tried to skate!).

I thought the pair above looked especially festive in their hats and antlers, and the scarves are a nice touch.

Those doxie faces are a dead giveaway, however, that they are less than thrilled with their getups--it's a Southern term, and that's what my late grandmother used to call fancy outfits.

Merry Christmas (again)!

HOWL-O-WIENER BUMBLEBEE DOXIE

"Mama made me try on this costume, but I don't like it.  I mean, I look like an idiot!  People will laugh . . . people will point . . . I will want to hide!"

More doxie Howl-o-wiener costumes will be posted in the coming days.  Which will be your favorite??
