What’s going on in your world out there? If you didn’t know, we now have two pets: Abby, a chiweenie, and Dexter, a solid black, green-eyed cat. Both were my late brother’s pets: we’re keeping Abby, and Dexter will go to his new owner in a few weeks. We haven’t had a pet actually living with us since our doxie Duke died in 2017.
They’ve adjusted well, I think, and so have we. We are enjoying watching their antics, and getting used to Dexter going anywhere in the house he pleases, as cats do. We did have a cat when our daughters were growing up, but had forgotten how cats just do what they want, lol.
