On the face of it, this means seems kinda dumb, but really, it isn’t—bear with me a moment.
Of course there are many people who qualify: my family, my friends, my church friends, neighbors, etc. But . . . none of them greet me with as much happiness and excitement as dogs do. Abby our new chiweenie is thrilled when she sees me, and so are granddawgs Sunny and Bruno. Dogs just have that wonderful way of showing us humans that they value us in a very special way, do5 they? And they’re considered man’s best friend for many reasons. Dogs are just special!
