THE DACHSHUND ESCAPADES by Sarge the family dog has these exciting experiences in his adventures:

๐ŸŸFISHING: Sarge relates “A Fishing Story” he witnessed, involving Grandpa “Papa” Duke and his old Army buddy Sellars—an unbelievable story that rivals any fishing tale out there!

๐ŸšTRAVEL: How about a cross country RV trip (from North Carolina to Arizona) with another doxie and two humans? They experience a wide variety of local cultures, sights, smells (and food), narrated by Sarge, who lived to tell about it!

๐ŸŽ„HOLIDAYS: Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, Thanksgiving, July 4, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, etc., birthday parties—all through Sarge’s eyes: but he does go kinda heavy on describing the yummy FOOD (forgive him—he’s a dog and a chow hound extraordinaire!).

๐Ÿ•Speaking of FOOD: Sarge thinks human food is delectable compared to his dog food, which he insists@ tastes like cardboard. One of the books in the series even includes recipes of his humans’ favorites: Southern banana pudding, chocolate pound cake, chicken and dumplings, and more!

๐Ÿ FAMILY: Although Sarge often outsmarts his humans, he loves them dearly and they love him, too.

He learns to deal with all his humans: parents and children, aunts and uncles, grandparents, cousins, neighbors, and friends! Not to mention other pets: dog cousins, a talkative and outrageous bird, and conniving, sneaky cats.

๐ŸคฃHUMOR: Oh, there are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments in Sarge’s life as the longsuffering family dog. His zany humans love life and enjoy having fun, and Sarge does, too.

๐Ÿ˜JOY: yes, both charm and happiness shine in Sarge’s chronicles of his adventures. We can all use a bit of heartwarming fun and enjoyment, right?
