Doxie lovers who own one doxie or multiple doxies all tell me the same thing: when they try to eat, their doxies are right there in their faces, wanting some of their food! That's a doxie for ya: chow hounds extraordinaire!
I suppose if our noses could smell food 4,000 times better than we can now, we'd be "food fiends," too! Think how great food smells when you're hungry--now multiply that smell 4,000 times. Oh my growlin' tummy!
Dachshunds . . . you gotta love 'em, noses and all.
