I had always heard that a dog's age = seven years for every human year. That has been updated--notice that larger dogs age faster than smaller dogs. Sorry about those labs and retrievers, collies and great danes!
According to the chart, Duke, who is seven, is 44 in human years. That sounds about right, but don't tell him--he still thinks he's a puppy, and acts like it, too!
Dachshunds . . . you gotta love 'em.
