WE SURVIVED THE MOVE!

Here is a photo of our doxie Duke inspecting Clark's recently-acquired, extended cab truck.  Seems that Duke has given his seal of approval :).

Yes, we survived the move from North Carolina to Georgia, and we're still in one piece.  Moving is exciting, but more difficult than it used to be . . . we're not spring chickens anymore!  Right now, we've been here at our new place for one week, and we're about 3/4 unpacked, which I think is remarkable.  Years ago, we visited a friend eight months after they had moved to a new house across town, and there were still many unopened boxes from their move--so I feel that we've done extremely well in this move.

We're already liking our location in the suburbs of Atlanta.  We live in a one-street neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac, with lots of trees.  I call our place "our little house in the woods."  However, we're only five minutes from anything, so we have the best of both worlds.
