OCTOBER: HOWL-O-WIENER MONTH
Are you dressing up your doxie for Howl-o-wiener? Our Duke won't wear anything but his collar, but thousands of dachshund owners are dressing up their doxies each year, and some costumes are really elaborate.

THE DACHSHUND MYSTIQUE: WHAT IS IT?
I have figured out the dachshund mystique: doxies are totally uninhibited, never caring how silly or comical they look! They live life with abandon, enjoying the ride tremendously. Here are a few photos that prove my point:
