CHOCOLATE "CHIP" COOKIES

"Mama says I look like a chocolate chip cookie,
an' that's why she named me Chip. I think it's
kinda a compliment, 'cause Mama loves chocolate!"

Perspectives

Five-star reader review of I AM SARGE on Amazon:

"Will melt y our heart! As a dachshund parent, I was totally smitten with this book. I couldn't wait to see and compare the antics of Sarge with that of my own little clown dogs. A lighthearted story full of comical situations. I loved this book."

My daughters LOVE your book! Big hit!!" --Cindee Snider Re, writer

Another five-star review on Amazon:

Love, love, love this author!! Mavis is a wonderful story teller!! I was so excited to see more books written by her--after reading the first 2, you can't go wrong by choosing her stories!

"If you feel a kindred spirit with any animal, you will relish the day-to-day events of this endearing family as experienced through Sarge's perspective. Ms. Hinton's keen wit will have you laughing out loud and searching for a dachshund puppy to adopt!" --Lindie Nelson, animal lover, Gilbert, Arizona

"We're each taking turns reading your Sarge story. My oldest daughter is reading it as I write - I can't help but get a kick out of watching her smile and chuckle as she flips through the pages - we all seem to have the same warmhearted response to Sarge. By the way, we LOVED the fishing story, and to think it actually happened! Thank you for staying the course and turning your dream of writing into a wonderful reality. God has blessed you, and through you has blessed us with these wonderful stories. I personally enjoyed the thread of God's unconditional love as seen through a dachshund's eyes (woven throughout your wonderful family). In life . . . there are no ordinary moments!"--reader from New Jersey
