HAPPY JULY FOURTH WEEKEND, AMERICA!

 Happy July 4th weekend, America!

We’re going to our oldest daughter’s home on Monday since the 4th happens to be both my husband’s AND my brother’s birthday!

Our son-in-law Philip is a griller extraordinaire, and he’s cooking the traditional burgers and hot dogs. I love it!

If we get around to taking pictures, I’ll post them next week!

HAVE A GREAT JULY FOURTH WEEKEND!

Here are some doxies who are very patriotic and wish to celebrate July 4th with you:

Remember to keep your pets indoors during fireworks; most of them freak out, and dogs run away more on July 4 than any other day because they are afraid.  Happy weekend!

Doxie lovers, may you have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July tomorrow!  We will also be celebrating my husband's birthday as well, and I'll post photos of our birthday celebration next week.

I am proud to say that I love America, and I am thankful that we've received so many blessings of God in our relatively short history.  Despite some issues lately, America is still a country to be thankful for, and having lived in and visited others, my country makes me so happy!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA, MY HOME SWEET HOME!

FIREWORKS AND PATRIOTISM

Our town provides many family activities on the Town Square:  booths, games and rides, musical entertainment, food, and topped off with fireworks at night.  Our daughter Holly, hubby Philip, and the grands are coming to celebrate with us.

July Fourth is definitely a patriotic holiday, and is accompanied by cookouts, trips to the beach, family gatherings around pools and grills, camping, and fireworks.

In our family, we have an additional reason to celebrate:  it is also my husband's and my brother's birthday!  In fact, rather than making a cake for Clark, Holly's going to make him a homemade banana pudding, one of his favorite desserts.

Here's wishing all of you a wonderful July 4th!
