OUT WITH THE TURKEY, IN WITH THE CHRISTMAS TREE!

Hi, doxie lovers! I hope you and your friends and family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Oh, we certainly did, and I have the "food hangover" today to prove it! My daughter Holly and I shared the cooking duties, and we ate at her house. Here are a few photos of our family (minus Kurt & Bethany, who couldn't make it from AZ this year) and our food:

As you can see, we had more than enough, and I am thankful for my many blessings. And now, it's time to kick off the Christmas season! In my next post, it's all about the Christmas season, but here's a couple of pictures to get you in the mood:

DACHSHUNDS ARE EVERYWHERE!

Here's yet another Christmas idea for that doxie lover:  a carved toilet seat cover sporting a doxie image!  Looks well crafted, too.

I like it.

BOOKWORM??

This picture brings new meaning to the term "bookworm," doesn't it?

Well, if Sarge the dachshund can write books, then it stands to reason that other doxies can read 'em!  Have you bought Sarge's books for your doxie yet?  They would be wonderful Christmas gifts, you know:).
