Happy Monday! This week’s gonna be a scorcher here in the Southeast, so we’ll all be staying as cool as possible.
When I was a child, most homes (or businesses) did not have AC. I recall that drugstores were usually the first businesses to have it, so when we went into town, we’d make sure to spend some time in one of those to cool off. I admit I’m spoiled because I MUST have AC—even more so than heat in winter (if one can call what we have here “winter).
