We all know that doxies are:
•Chow hounds
•Hunters
•Couch potatoes
•Cuddle bugs
•Bed hogs
•Diggers
. . . but RINNERS?
Oh yres! A standard can reach speeds of 15-20 MPH, no mean feat for those short legs. Of course, those short legs tire easily, since doxies were bred for hunting, not running. Bit if you’ve seen them chase squirrels, you know that they can hold their own when they want to. THAT’s the key: when they want to!
Today’s doxies are fine examples of the running doxie. Notice how much they enjoy it!
