Our new little granddawg that I've written about is getting so cute! She's six weeks old now, and will join our daughter's family in mid-June. They've decided on a name for her: Samantha Sunshine! "Samantha" is in memory of my parents' red doxie Samantha (called Sam), and "Sunshine" is in memory of their 16-year-old doxie Shadow who passed on February 1. They'll call her Sunny!
The lady who owns Sunny's mom and siblings says that Sunny is a feisty little thing, always "bossing" her siblings around. That means she'll fit in just fine with the other females in our family, lol! The boxer Bruno most likely won't intimidate her, and the three cats in the family will merely be her playthings. Can't wait to see how all this pans out. I'll keep you posted--never fear.

I have a very soft spot in my heart for puppies of any breed, but especially for dachshund fur balls.
Dachshunds . . . you gotta love 'em!
