I might be retired, but I still enjoy the happiness that is Friday. After all, I worked for many years, and no matter the job, Fridays were always special. Sometimes Fridays were more hectic, but that didn't matter to most of us--we were just glad it was Friday, the gateway to the weekend.
Have a great weekend, doxie lovers. Tomorrow we're going to watch our granddaughters' basketball games in the nearby county where they live. Our daughter (their mom), an assistant coach on the volunteer county league, is coaching one of the games all by herself. She played sports in school, so this is right up her alley.
Family is important. So is God, so we'll enjoy being at our church on Sunday morning. God bless!
