EYEGLASSES, ANYONE?

"Do you really expect me to buy that explanation??"



 

People seem to have a penchant for putting glasses on doxies--perhaps they look so intelligent, anyway, that the glasses just add to their perceived brain power?  We all know that their eyesight is far better than ours is (and, for that matter, so are all their other senses).

 

Doxies ARE intelligent, but also stubborn.  In fact, I'm told that they usually know what we want them to do--but choose not to do it.  It's not that they don't understand, although they may come across as dense--like any other breed.  Nope.  They aren't in the mood, they want to be contrary, or they just flat out want to stay in their warm spot on the couch.  Whatever.



 

We love them anyway, because they are just so endearing and comical.  My Duke makes me laugh out loud at least once a day!
