This doxie brings new meaning to the term "couch potato"! I don't know how he got into such a predicament, but knowing dachshunds like I do, I can't say that I'm a bit surprised.
I once accidentally closed up our granddawg Shadow inside my recliner. he had been lying under the foot rest, and when I closed up the chair in order to get up, I heard nary a peep from him. We started looking for him, and he then gave a little bark--otherwise, we would never have found him! He was unhurt, and apparently liked his little cave. But he gave us a scare.
